Betting On The Olympics

Betting on things like the Olympics isn’t normally something I’d readily get involved in, but the main reason for that is because I know absolutely nothing about (a) the sports, (b) the competitors and with that in mind (c) how on earth I’d ever know what should or shouldn’t be a value selection. I’d be betting blind in other words and that’s never a particularly good position to be in!

Monthly Systems Round-Up

Monthly Systems Round-UpIt’s been an interesting month here at OBE. We started off testing four new systems and two weeks into the testing period we were reduced to three when Matt Bisogno took his Trainer Flat Stats off the market. That was a pity because in the last couple of weeks we’ve been treated to a host of big priced winners from TFS, but those of you who purchased prior to this should be happy with the recent results. I’ll be following it until the end of the season and you should too.

Winning Systems: Rest In Peace

Stop! You’ll regularly see system vendors advertise that only X amount of their betting systems will ever be sold to prevent too many customers using them, but in the majority of cases it’s all smoke and mirrors to create a sense of urgency and generate more sales. However, that’s all changing this week…

The Aintree Grand National 2008

The Aintree Grand National 2008Grand National Day has always been one of the most exciting days of the year for me. Many moons ago, before they reduced the height of the fences and made the race less of a test, the Grand National was viewed as a lottery of a race, but times have changed and the trends guys have cleaned up for at least the last 10 years with some clear-cut winners at outrageous odds up to 33/1 and 50/1.

The Ultimate Guide To Cheltenham

The Ultimate Guide To Cheltenham I’ve made no secret of the fact that I rate the At The Races website above all others when it comes to the Cheltenham Festival. Every year since they started their website they’ve upped their game and it’s now one of the very best horse racing resources all the year round, nevermind just for Cheltenham.

This week they rolled out a brand new version of their website and I’ve got to say that it’s absolutely superb. It’s rich with features from journalists who actually know what their talking about (yes, believe it or not, it’s true!), top rate features with all the big names in the sport, an excellent statistics database and one of the very best video form guides you’ll find.

Systems, Systems, Systems

Systems, Systems, SystemsIt’s been just over a month since we started Online Betting Exposed now and we’ve had a hectic few weeks of it between building the website, writing articles, reviewing products and carrying out tests on various different betting systems.

That said, if you’re an online betting enthusiast like us there’s nothing better than spending your time getting stuck into systems and statistics, so we’d be lying if we told you that we haven’t enjoyed it immensely.

Cheltenham Festival Blogs

Cheltenham Festival BlogsThere’s only two weeks to go until the highlight of the betting calendar, the Cheltenham Festival 2008, and the excitement amongst horse racing fans is starting to gather momentum in some style now. This is the time of year when I literally eat, sleep and breathe horse racing. I spend hours every day scanning websites, looking at stats, studying trends, monitoring my market position on the early trades I’ve made and generally acting like Santa is about to arrive.

How To Beat The Betfair Blues

How To Beat The Betfair BluesIf you turn on the television, open a newspaper, or tune in to almost any financial related blog at present you could be forgiven for thinking that doomsday is nigh upon us. Market “experts” the world over are predicting soaring interest rates, global recessions and devastation for investors, the like of which has never been seen before. If it’s all to be believed we should be boarding our windows, stocking up on tinned foods and preparing ourselves for the Grim Reaper….
