Refuse To Lose 26/04/08

I had three races to play in today, and was all excited about another good day with plenty profit to stash away in my account.  It started just as hoped with the first race finding us a winner, then the second looked like doing the same, trading around 1.2 on Betfair before getting caught on the line.  I never had high hopes for our third for some reason, and my worries were confirmed when we got nowhere near the winner.  Still, we’ve had days like this before, so it’s head down and grind it out!

13:40 Sand - WON
13:50 Mkt Ras - Lost
16:50 Ripon - Lost

Day 10 P/L = -£137
Total P/L = £361.13
Bank = £2361.13

Refuse To Lose 25/04/08

I’m liking Refuse To Lose more every day!  Two bets to be had today, and from them….yup, two winners.  Ah the joys of gambling for a living :)

17:20 Chep - WON
19:55 Chep - WON

Day 9 P/L = £122.25
Total P/L = £498.13
Bank = £2498.13

Refuse To Lose 24/04/08

It may have been a bit dull and wet outside my office window today, but Refuse To Lose brought a little ray of sunshine to my betting account.  The day started off with four potentials and ended up with just the one qualifier, such is life.  Still, that one qualifier did the business and brought some much loved profit to my account, lovely :)

14:10 Perth - WON

Day 8 P/L = £65.60
Total P/L = £375.88
Bank = £2375.88

Refuse To Lose 21/04/08

Refuse To Lose lived up to its name today gaining back all the lost stakes over the past couple of bets and bringing the account back to where it should be! And it did it all in the course of one race! Lovely!

18:55 Winds - WON

Day 7 P/L = £302
Total P/L = £310.28
Bank = £2310.28

Refuse To Lose 19/04/08

It’s been a few days since we last had a Refuse To Lose bet, but today there were two opportunities. Unfortunately both wagers went down. We were unlucky in the first of today with Ruby being brought down when travelling well, but hey ho, them’s the breaks!

The staking plan that comes with Refuse To Lose means that after a losing bet you don’t aim to make any profit on the next, but rather recover your lost stake, which is what I’ve done today.

16:20 Ayr - Lost
16:25 Ayr - Lost

Day 6 P/L = -£204.22
Total P/L = £8.28
Bank = £2008.28

Refuse To Lose 15/04/08

After a sluggish start selection wise, it was full steam ahead for Refuse To Lose today.  We had no less than three races to get involved in today, and the claimed 80% strike rate is being borne out as from the three we had two winners and a loser, meaning four from five overall, meaning 80% - I’d show you my workings out there but that may become a tad tedious so just trust me on that ;)

16:00 War - WON
16:10 Exet - WON
16:40 Exet - Lost

Day 5 P/L = £30
Total P/L = £212.50
Bank = £2212.50

Refuse To Lose 13/04/08

After a couple of ‘no bet’ days, we had a full selection today.  It couldn’t have turned out much better as our two selections returned in first and second places, and returned us another tidy profit.

When looking at the results below, remember that we’re using £2 per point stakes and this is only our 2nd bet!

15:00 Kelso - WON

Day 4 P/L = £92.50
Total P/L = £182.50
Bank = £2182.50

Refuse To Lose 10/04/08

A slightly frustrating day today for Refuse To Lose.  There was a possible selection in the 14:10 race, but one of the selections just failed to qualify and if it hadn’t been for that we’d have pocketed a little profit again today.  Better to play safe though and it should pay off in the long term.

Day 3 P/L = £0
Total P/L = £90
Bank = £2090

Refuse To Lose 09/04/08

There were two potential races for Refuse To Lose today, but unfortunately, both of them failed to qualify on minor points so go down as no bets.  Had we bet we would have lost the first, and won the second and so would have profited overall but, as always, we’ll stick rigidly to the rules.

Day 2 P/L = £0
Total P/L = £90
Bank = £2090

Refuse To Lose 08/04/08

Day one for Refuse To Lose dear Reader and a rather blinding start even if I do say so myself!  If you recall, I said in my opening review that we’d allocate £2 per point, so I wasn’t really expecting masses of profit.  I’d also said that over a period of 14 weeks, Refuse To Lose pocketed a claimed 1030 points profit.

Well, today was the first day and as we’ve already bagged 45 points profit….45 points on day one…I am quite pleasantly shocked.  Before anyone gets too excited, although my stake per point is £2, it was a 34 point stake I had to wager (£68 for those of slow mental agility ;) ) and that was on horse A, horse B had 23 points staked on it.  Still, taking home a clear 45 point profit on day one has certainly boosted my moral!  Long may it continue!

14:40 Ling - Won

Day 1 P/L = £90
Total P/L = £90
Bank = £2090
