The Betting Exchange Academy

The popularity of betting exchange trading has grown in leaps and bounds over the last few years and many are now realising that instead of being some “new fad”, the betting exchanges can actually provide you with the opportunity to earn an above-average, work-from-home, income. So, why oh why are the majority of exchange traders operating losing accounts with this Golden Goose?

The simple answer to that is education. And I’m not talking about how many qualifications you achieved at school or university, because that really doesn’t come into it. It’s more to do with the fact that the people who are making a career out of betting exchange trading have a solid working knowledge of what works on the exchanges and those who continually lose their shirts don’t.

One guy who has carved an outrageously successful career out of betting exchange trading is Peter Webb of Bet Angel fame. Peter started his career as a trader on the financial markets before joining Betfair when they first launched in 2000. He put his previous trading experience to good use and very quickly became one of their leading account holders, now with an estimated annual turnover of more than £2,000,000 on Betfair alone.

We actually attended one of Betfair’s own regional training courses a few months ago and when I asked if they offered any kind of advanced training on different types of trading techniques they told us to contact Peter Webb, so it’s safe to say that he’s held in very high regard by Betfair themselves and he obviously walks the talk when it comes to betting exchange trading.

The reason I’m telling you this is because in a world full of poor products, fake products and just plain misinformation, there are certain people (who we’re delighted to feature on this website) that go way beyond the call of duty and provide real working solutions for exchange traders and online betting enthusiasts. Peter is one of the guys who falls firmly into that category and I always think that if you strive to become the best, you should go out of your way to learn from the best.
